As part of Tele Visions, a televised project curated by Emma Ramsay & Alex White
24 November – 3 December 2013
Verge Gallery Darlington Sydney 2006

Kate Blackmore and I collaborated to develop and perform a new work titled Box Set. The project was commissioned by Alex White and Emma Ramsay for Tele Visions, a broadcast program commemorating the end of analogue television in Australia. Box Set was an 8-day endurance performance presented within a live television studio. Kate and I watched every episode of one of the world’s longest running television series, The Simpsons, while fasting.

Box Set was anchored by Nick Keys, who provided an endurance commentary across the entire performance. He invited special guests throughout the week to discuss varied topics that responded to the project and to the experience of endurance.

Audiences could participate in this project 24-hours a day by either being part of the live studio audience or watching it on analogue television or streamed online.
